Jimmy John’s Gargantuan

The Gargantuan is a thing of legend. But it exists, and if you ask, you will get. Simple as that. This is actually starting to appear on more and more menus, but at one time it was only on the secret menu.

The Gargantuan, also known as the J.J. Gargantuan, was invented by the founder’s brother, Huey. It contains a huge helping of genoa salami as well as layers of sliced smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey and provolone. All of this cured, cooked and smoked meat is topped with onions, lettuce and tomato, covered in a helping of mayonnaise and Italian dressing, and jammed into one of their super subs.

One thing that definitely isn’t on the menu is the Noah’s Ark. This is basically an Gargantuan with double the meat. We have yet to witness this for ourself and we’re not quite sure how they can get even more meat in this beast, but we’d love to see it.

This monster costs around $10, depending the location. We have heard of customers paying between $8.99 and $9.99.
