The Daily Beast confirms that a feature film for Game of Thrones is in discussion in an interview with Charles Dance who plays the ruthless mastermind behind The Red Wedding, Tywin Lannister.

“There’s talk of eventually trying to do a feature film, but I don’t know which of the story-lines” Dance adds “there so much to cram into a film.”

No doubt! With 40 episodes down for the HBO series, 5 published novels that are about 1000 pages each and two more in the works, it is a small wonder that creating an actual film to this series would be rather difficult.

It would have to focus on one story-line… perhaps a prequel adaptation to ‘Robert’s Rebellion?’ The circumstances that led up to the events of the novels and the HBO series. Here’s hoping!

Dance will also make a season 5 cameo even after his gruesome end at the hands of his own son in last season’s finale.

“Well, only my body!” he explains “I don’t wake up in the shower having had a dream about it all.”

We understand Charles and look forward to watch Tywin’s corpse displayed on the Great Sept. We really do!
